SenseVault encrypts your data with a key derived from your master password. That password is never stored or transmitted, so it cannot be reset, recovered, or bypassed. Keeping it safe, and keeping a current backup, is entirely your responsibility.
SenseVault is a private storage app. It is not a wallet, an exchange, a custodian, or a financial service of any kind. It never takes possession of anything you own, never transmits what you store anywhere, and cannot carry out transactions on your behalf. It simply stores, in encrypted form, the text you choose to type into it.
SenseVault is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. It uses standard, widely-reviewed cryptographic algorithms, but that says nothing about this particular implementation of them: no software can be guaranteed free of defects, and this app has not been independently audited. No app, however well built, can protect data on a phone that is itself compromised — by malware, by a malicious keyboard, or by someone with physical access to it while unlocked.
SenseVault is developed and published by Saurabh Arora, trading as SA SecLabs. Any reference to “we” or “us” in these terms means that.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saurabh Arora, trading as SA SecLabs, is not liable for any loss of data or other loss or damage arising from your use of SenseVault — including a forgotten master password, a lost or damaged device, a missing backup, or a phone that has itself been compromised. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you are a consumer, this does not affect any rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
SenseVault has no servers and no accounts, and the released app does not request internet access. We do not collect, receive, store, or have any means of accessing your information. We could not hand it over to anyone even if compelled, because we never have it.
If a future version adds optional features that involve a network — such as syncing between your devices — that will be clearly disclosed, it will be something you choose to turn on, and these terms and the privacy policy will be updated before it happens.
